ARTEFACTS
Yaatzil has been fascinated by the processes behind craftsmanship since 2016, when she collaborated for the first time with the multidisciplinary designer Raul de la Cerda. During her postgraduate studies at Central Saint Martins (London, 2018-2020) Yaatzil has had the opportunity to design and make 1:1 prototypes, installations, objects and artefacts using an array of techniques and materials, such as: metal, wood, fabrics and UV printing. As a freelance designer and maker, she has created some bespoke furniture pieces.
'I have an enthusiasm for creating innovative user-centred products and an unstoppable curiosity of discovering new materials and processes for making objects. I consider myself a designer and maker.'
